PDF Page Deleter

Remove unwanted pages from a PDF

Rockspace's PDF page deleter lets you remove specific pages from an existing PDF and create a new version containing only the pages you want to keep. Select the pages you no longer need, review the remaining page count, and generate an updated PDF.

Each page is displayed as a visual preview, making it easier to identify the pages you want to remove before creating the updated document.

How it works

How to delete pages from a PDF

Remove unwanted pages from your document in three simple steps.

01

Upload your PDF

Add the PDF you want to edit using the upload area. You can drag a PDF into the workspace or choose one from your device.

02

Select pages to remove

Review the page previews and click the pages you want to delete. Selected pages are marked clearly inside the workspace.

03

Create the updated PDF

Choose Delete Pages to generate a new PDF with the selected pages removed.

Common uses

When should you delete PDF pages?

Remove blank pages

Remove unnecessary blank pages from a document before sharing or printing it.

Remove outdated information

Create a cleaner copy of a document by removing pages containing information that is no longer relevant to the version you want to share.

Remove duplicate pages

If a PDF contains repeated pages, select the unwanted copies and generate an updated document.

Prepare a document for sharing

Keep only the pages that are relevant to the person or group receiving the document.

Page selection

See exactly what will be removed

Every page in the uploaded PDF is shown as a preview. Selecting a page marks it for deletion, while the sidebar keeps track of how many pages are selected and how many will remain in the updated document.

Built-in protection

At least one page must remain

A valid PDF needs at least one page. For that reason, the tool prevents the final remaining page from being marked for deletion and stops an operation that would produce a zero-page PDF.

Remaining pages

The sidebar shows the number of pages that will remain after the selected pages are removed.

How the tool works

How the updated PDF is created

When you choose pages to delete, the tool builds a list of the pages that should remain. The original PDF is then loaded and those remaining pages are copied into a new PDF document.

The new PDF is saved as a separate document and prepared for download. Your selected pages are excluded from the generated file while the remaining pages keep their original order.

The current implementation performs the PDF preview and page deletion in the browser using PDF.js and pdf-lib.

FAQ

A PDF page deleter creates a new PDF with selected pages removed from the original document. The remaining pages are preserved in their original order.

Can I delete multiple pages at once?

Yes. You can select multiple pages in the page grid before choosing Delete Pages.

Can I delete every page?

No. At least one page must remain in the PDF. The tool prevents the final remaining page from being selected for deletion.

Does the tool modify my original PDF?

No. The tool creates a separate updated PDF containing the pages that were not selected for deletion.

Can I preview the pages before deleting them?

Yes. The tool generates a visual preview for every page in the uploaded PDF so you can identify the pages you want to remove.

What happens after I delete the pages?

A new PDF is generated and automatically downloaded. A Download Again option also appears so you can download the updated document again.

What order will the remaining pages have?

The remaining pages stay in the same order as they appeared in the original PDF. The selected pages are simply omitted from the generated document.
