PDF WATERMARK
Put a clear mark on your PDF without getting in the way of the document.
Add labels such as “CONFIDENTIAL”, “DRAFT”, “INTERNAL”, or a company name to your PDF pages. Control the watermark’s size, opacity, rotation, color, position, and the pages it appears on.
HOW IT WORKS
Add a visible layer to your document.
Upload your PDF, customize the watermark, choose which pages should receive it, and create a new watermarked document.
Upload
Select one or more PDF files.
Customize
Choose the watermark appearance and placement.
Export
Generate a new watermarked PDF.
WATERMARK CONTROLS
Shape the watermark around the document.
The right watermark is noticeable without making the underlying document difficult to read.
Text
Enter the message that should appear on your document, such as CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, or INTERNAL.
Opacity
Adjust how strongly the watermark appears over the existing page content.
Rotation
Rotate the watermark to create a diagonal document-wide treatment or keep it horizontal.
Color and size
Choose a visual weight that works with the existing document instead of overpowering it.
Position
Place the watermark near a corner, along an edge, or around the center of the page.
Selected pages
Apply the watermark to every page or target specific pages and ranges such as 1, 3-5, or 8.
FULL-PAGE COVERAGE
Repeat the watermark across the page.
Instead of placing a single label in one location, the watermark can be repeated across the page. This creates a consistent visible pattern across the document.
COMMON USES
Useful wherever document status matters.
Watermarks can make the status, ownership, or intended use of a document immediately clear.
Confidential documents
Add a visible CONFIDENTIAL label to documents that contain information intended for a limited audience.
Draft documents
Mark working versions as DRAFT so they can be distinguished from finalized documents.
Company documents
Place a company or organization name across pages when distributing branded or internal material.
Review copies
Distinguish documents prepared for review, feedback, approval, or internal circulation.
UNDER THE HOOD
What happens to the PDF?
The PDF is loaded and its individual pages are processed according to the watermark settings you choose.
For each selected page, the watermark text is drawn onto the document using its configured size, color, opacity, rotation, and position.
The result is exported as a new PDF. Your original uploaded file is not replaced by the generated document.
When multiple PDFs are uploaded, each document is processed separately and receives a -watermarked.pdf output filename.
